At A River Project, we believe the Gospel is shared not only through music and testimony, but also through practical acts of Christ-centered love. As God opens doors, ARP seeks to support trusted ministry partners, encourage biblical stewardship, and meet documented needs with transparency, accountability, and prayer.
Timothy Onyango - Timothy is studying to be an attorney in Uganda, and after being cut off by Compassion International, we decided to help Timothy with the expenses required to get his education. His dream is to duplicate a mission of giving in his home country of Uganda, to help all the people there like he has been helped. One great example is Irene, shown above with Timothy. During our time getting to know Timothy and helping support him, he told us about Irene. She suffers from some serious physical limitations that meant having a wheel chair would greatly improve her life. Praise God we were able to help Timothy with that request through ARP, and he said Irene's parents were overjoyed she was able to go to church with them and sit along side them in the services, Glory To God! See her picture with her mother and new wheelchair!
We are very proud of Timothy and all the progress he has made through difficult circumstances. He has also shown tremendous compassion for others and we are excited to partner with him as he finishes his education as an attorney in Uganda and works hard to implement the care and giving in his own communities through local outreaches to further God's Impact in Uganda!
Through a very close brother in Christ, Ray, we learned of Oscar (George) Kambona's need for some complete bibles for home study and the Kenya Gospel Alliance. There is such a shortage there they needed extra copies so everyone who was learning about Christ could read and study God's Word. This moved us and we were able to provide funds for some full bibles in their native language, to God be all Glory! Jesus is THE WAY!
6/8/26 "Jon these are 70 Bibles that Oscar has received today. He will be distributing them in the coming days. I have confirmed the receipt of Ksh 14000 from Jon Moore" - Ray

"Hello brother Jon Moore. This is the picture and receipt of the bibles you sent. Your generous donation and the bibles bought using the funds has been a great pillar in my gospel work. Many souls are touched and more people are being converted through your support. May God bless you for the help." - Oscar
If the Lord leads you to partner with ARP Outreach, we would be honored to have you join us in sharing Christ's love through practical support. Every gift is stewarded prayerfully and documented with transparency and accountability through A River Project, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
